Elevate Retreat
Recovery belongs in the plan.
When work keeps asking more of you, stepping away can be a practical decision. Elevate Retreat is planned as two nights in Barrhead with guided sessions on stress and burnout, shared meals and time away from the usual demands.

The founder
Holly built the room she wanted to walk into.
Holly Pickard has spent more than two decades in trades and industry. After listening to women across Edmonton talk about what was missing, she started EWI to make space for their stories and for the conversations that follow.
There is no career-stage test at the door. If this room speaks to the work you do or the work you hope to do, you are welcome in it.

Who is welcome?
Women across industry are welcome at any career stage, from a first role to years of leading work. Allies who want to listen and contribute are welcome too.
Is EWI only for women in the trades?
No. The community includes women working in and alongside predominantly male industries, whether their work is on a site, in an office or running a business.
Can I come on my own?
Yes. Come on your own if you like. EWI makes time for conversation, not just presentations from the stage.
Are gatherings ticketed?
